Responsibilities
Requirements
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism to lead fulfilling lives by promoting independence and personal growth.
  • Assist with daily living skills, including cooking, shopping, and personal care, while encouraging autonomy.
  • Plan and facilitate activities such as arts and crafts, games, and sensory experiences that help develop social, cognitive, and motor skills.
  • Engage clients in community-based activities and outings, helping them build confidence and connections.
  • Work flexibly as part of a team, adapting to the needs of the service users and organization.
  • Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
  • Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of work per week.
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
