Learn why registered nurses love working with Superior Healthcare.
We often find that registered nurses with a clinical or community care background, whether from the NHS or the private sector, enjoy working for Superior Healthcare.
This is because we give nurses a manageable workload and improved work-life balance so they can deliver a higher level of person-centred care when supporting one client per shift. We make sure nursing is rewarding and fulfilling – as it should be.
As a Registered Nurse, no two days are the same–your role extends far beyond routine clinical tasks. You’ll work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to provide personalised care that supports clients’ health and enhances their quality of life.
You can choose to work with just one client or a handful of individuals each week, allowing you to build strong, meaningful connections and provide person-centered care. This flexibility also give you the time and focus needed to make a real difference in each client’s life.
Your day-to-day clinical responsibilities may include providing PEG, tracheostomy, and ventilator management, among other specialised care.
Beyond clinical duties, you’ll also play a key role in supporting your client’s emotional wellbeing, helping to plan activities, and assisting with their access to the wider community.
As part of the complex care team, a Registered Nurse may work alongside healthcare assistants or other nurses in a small, collaborative team.
Some of our clients receive one-to-one care, while others may require double-handed support from a dedicated team of nurses who provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We’ll help you reach your career aspirations.
We pride ourselves on proactively supporting the growth of our nurses and providing progression opportunities, such as progressing to a Nurse Manager or a Clinical Educator to train our care and nursing teams.
We offer a wide range of career development opportunities to help you grow within and enjoy your role as a registered nurse at Superior Healthcare. If you possess ambition, skills, and commitment, we can provide the support and opportunities you need to reach your nursing career goals. Our benefits include:
Superior Healthcare was founded in 2006 by Stewart Thorp, his father Charles, and Sarah Richards after Stewart’s brother, Alex, sustained a traumatic brain injury and required 24-hour care.
When trying to organise at-home, 24-hour care for Alex, Stewart saw the need for a specialist provider that could fit into family life and continue Alex’s rehabilitation.
Superior Healthcare was formed to address this need. Since then, we have been providing support to individuals living with complex care needs.
